Skin Clinic Korea
Start HereIs Korea Right for You?
Korea isn’t the only country with a strong aesthetic medicine market. Before deciding, it helps to see how it actually compares to the alternatives you’re likely also considering.
More country-specific comparisons (Thailand, Turkey, and others) are added as we complete the research. See our Research Method for how each one is built.
Skin Clinic Korea helps international patients decide whether Korea is the right place for aesthetic and dermatology treatment, and what to expect if it is. We’re not a clinic directory. That’s a separate, deliberate step later.

Your 5-step path
Understand Korean Aesthetic Medicine
“Different” isn’t the same as “better.” Before you compare clinics, it helps to understand what’s actually different about how Korea’s market works.
Plan Your Visit
Once Korea looks like the right fit, our Korean Clinic Visit Guide walks through the full patient journey, from booking and pricing to consultation, treatment, payment, aftercare, and what to do before you leave.
Understand the Treatments
Before you book anything, it helps to understand what a treatment actually is. Our treatment guides cover Botox, fillers, Ultherapy, Thermage, laser resurfacing, microneedling, and more. They are written to explain, not to sell.
Ready to Choose a Clinic?
This is a deliberately separate step. Once you’ve decided Korea is right for you, there are two ways to move forward:
- Browse it yourself: open Naver Map, search the neighborhood name followed by 피부과 (dermatology), and compare review counts, opening hours and the specialists each clinic lists. It is not a ranking, only a picture of what is actually nearby.
- Check a clinic before you book: if a Seoul clinic advertises to foreign patients, look it up on the MedicalKorea register of institutions approved to recruit foreign patients, and ask whether the doctor who will treat you is a board-certified dermatologist. Korean law lets any licensed physician perform cosmetic procedures, so the clinic sign alone does not tell you.
- Get matched: Request a free clinic-matching consultation: free for patients, with multilingual support and no hidden fees.
How We Work
We compare markets on treatments, technology, pricing context, and patient experience, not on which country is “best.” Read our Editorial & Comparison Policy and Research Method, and see our Commercial Disclosure. Skin Clinic Korea does not receive referral fees, commissions or any other payment from clinics for listings, rankings, matching or patient referrals.
Before you rely on any of this
Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here is a recommendation of a specific clinic. We compare markets and explain how things work; the decision, and the consultation, remain yours.
How we research and what we will not publish is set out in our Editorial & Comparison Policy, Research Method, and Commercial Disclosure.
